Rabbi Benjamin Shalva is an ordained rabbi based in the Greater Washington DC-Baltimore Area.

Ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City, Rabbi Shalva specializes in lifecycle officiation for Jews (and non-Jewish partners) of different backgrounds, beliefs, orientations, and denominations.

Rabbi Shalva is an accomplished service and song leader with decades of experience leading spirited, moving, musical services and song sessions.

Rabbi Shalva has thirty years of experience in the fields of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness instruction. He has published two books on the subject - Spiritual Cross-Training: Searching through Silence, Stretch, and Song and Ambition Addiction: How to Go Slow, Give Thanks, and Discover Joy Within (both published by Grand Harbor Press) - and continues to lead Jewish yoga and meditation sessions in and around the Greater Washington DC-Baltimore Area.

Rabbi Shalva lives in Baltimore with his wife, their two children, and their two hound dogs.
